If you are looking for a great mule deer hunt, Corliss Outfitting offers a wide selection of guided hunts throughout southern New Mexico on both public and private lands. Many of the hunts take place outside of the rut.

Archery Deer hunts take place September 1st – 24th and January 1st – 15th. The bucks in September are usually in bachelor herds or by themselves. Tactics during this time of year usually consist of spot and stalk or sitting water holes in a ground blind. In January, the bucks are gathering does and the rut is in full swing.

Muzzleloader Deer are 5 day hunts. These hunts are typically October 20th – 24th and October 27th – 31st depending on the unit. These hunts are generally spot and stalk with a lot of time spent behind the glass.

Rifle Deer hunts begin as early as October 20th – 24th with most of the units starting November 3rd – 7th and November 17th – 21st.  These hunts are typically spot and stalk with a lot of time spent behind the glass.

All hunts are subject to NM State Tax (6.875%). A 50% deposit is required upon drawing a tag.
A 50% deposit is required to book landowner tags and private land tags. All deposits are non-refundable.
